The formula begins with an emollient oil phase and emulsifiers, creating a fluid texture intended to move across dry skin. “Slip” here describes the product architecture and official format, not a personal-use result. The practical goal is even coverage over sunscreen and makeup with light pressure.

A fluid oil can spread faster than a balm and may move between the fingers. Dispense into cupped, dry hands and apply promptly. Longer massage or extra pumps do not prove deeper cleansing and can add friction around the nose, eyes and active blemishes.

Emulsification: the step that makes it a cleanser

Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate and Sorbitan Sesquioleate help the oil phase mix with water. After the dry-skin massage, add a small amount of water and continue gently until the texture becomes cloudy or milky. This helps suspend loosened makeup, sunscreen and sebum for rinsing.

3. Add water and emulsify until the oil turns milky.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Starting on wet skin or skipping the milky phase can reduce the format’s usefulness and leave a heavier after-feel.

Rinse feel and double-cleansing fit
