Anua Heartleaf Skincare Guide: Toner, Ampoule, Cleansers and Pads
Anua Heartleaf is a product family, not one routine step. The useful decision is whether you need a cleanser, a watery prep step, an exfoliating pad, a leave-on ampoule, a lightweight moisturizer or daily sunscreen. Choose the format that fills a real gap instead of stacking every product that carries the same line name.
Choose Anua Heartleaf by routine position first. Use the cleansing oil or foam for removal; the 77 toner for a watery prep step; the Clear Pad when you specifically want a pre-soaked PHA pad; the 80 ampoule for a concentrated but lightweight leave-on hydration step; the lotion for moisturizer; and the Silky Moisture Sunscreen for daytime UV protection.
A complete routine does not need all of them. For most people, one cleanser, one leave-on treatment or toner, one moisturizer and sunscreen is a clearer starting point.
Choose the job before the Heartleaf percentage
Remove makeup or sunscreen
Choose the Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil as a first cleanse when oil-soluble residue is the problem.
Wash away daily buildup
Choose a Heartleaf foam when you prefer a water-based cleanser and richer lather. It remains a rinse-off step.
Add a watery prep step
Choose the Heartleaf 77 Hyaluron Soothing Toner when you want a light liquid after cleansing and before serum.
Use a pre-soaked pad
Choose the Heartleaf 77 Clear Pad for a dual-sided pad with PHA and a defined wiping or short masking method.
Add a focused leave-on step
Choose the Heartleaf 80 Moisture Soothing Ampoule when a lightweight hydrating treatment fits better than another toner.
Seal with moisture or SPF
Choose a lotion for the moisturizer step and a sunscreen as the final morning step. These are not interchangeable.

Cleansers: oil and foam solve different residue problems
The Heartleaf cleansing oil is a first-cleanse format. Apply it to dry skin with dry hands, massage, add water until it turns milky, then rinse. It is most useful when makeup, water-resistant sunscreen or a richer film is present.
The Quercetinol foam is a water-based rinse-off cleanser. Its official product identity and ingredient list do not make it a leave-on exfoliant. Use it as a single cleanse or after oil only when two steps are actually needed.

Toner or pad: choose application method and treatment load
The current in-stock Heartleaf 77 Hyaluron Soothing Toner is the straightforward watery option. Apply with the hands when you want minimal friction, or use a pad only when that application method serves a clear purpose.
The Heartleaf 77 Clear Pad is not simply toner in a jar. Anua describes a dual-sided 7 cm pad with 77% Heartleaf Water, gluconolactone/PHA and Centella components. The embossed side is intended for wiping; the smooth side can be pressed onto the skin for a short hydration-focused use.
Choose one of these as the main prep step. Using liquid toner and pads together every day can duplicate function and friction without improving the routine.

Ampoule: the clearest leave-on treatment step
The Heartleaf 80 Moisture Soothing Ampoule is the most direct choice when you want a separate leave-on treatment between toner and moisturizer. Anua lists a short formula led by Heartleaf extract with glycerin, betaine, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate.
Its format is lightweight rather than cream-like. Apply a small amount after toner and before lotion or cream. If the ampoule already provides enough hydration beneath moisturizer, another hydrating serum is optional rather than mandatory.
Lotion, mask and sunscreen are supporting formats
Daily lotion
The Heartleaf 70 Daily Relief Lotion belongs in the moisturizer step. Choose it when a spreadable lotion is more practical than a dense cream.
Sheet or collagen mask
Masks are optional sessions. They should not replace the cleanser, moisturizer or sunscreen that the routine needs every day.
Silky Moisture Sunscreen
This belongs at the end of the morning routine. Choose it for UV protection and a moisture-oriented finish, not as another Heartleaf treatment layer.

Frequently asked questions
Which Anua Heartleaf product should I start with?
Start with the missing routine step. Choose cleanser for removal, toner or pad for prep, ampoule for a focused leave-on step, lotion for moisturizer or sunscreen for daytime protection.
Should I use the toner and Clear Pad together?
Usually one main prep format is enough. The toner minimizes friction; the pad adds a pre-soaked application method and PHA. Alternate or choose one instead of duplicating both automatically.
Is the Heartleaf ampoule a moisturizer?
No. It is a lightweight leave-on treatment used after toner and before moisturizer. Some routines may need only a small amount of lotion after it, while drier routines may prefer a cream.
Can I build an entire routine with Anua Heartleaf?
You can, but a complete line is not automatically better. Select one product per job and avoid buying multiple watery or soothing layers that perform nearly the same role.
Are all Heartleaf products suitable for sensitive skin?
No universal statement applies to every formula or person. Check the complete ingredient list and introduce products one at a time. A shared line ingredient does not make every format equally tolerable.
Where does Heartleaf sunscreen go in the routine?
It is the final morning skincare step. Apply an adequate amount and reapply according to the product directions and your exposure; do not treat it as a substitute for toner or ampoule.
