5. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning while acids are part of your routine.

Routine compatibility

To reduce the chance of irritation, do not layer it in the same routine with other exfoliating acids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, scrubs, or strong pure vitamin C formulas. Alternate nights instead.

Good to know before you buy

The formula contains alcohol and orange peel oil. Skin that reacts easily to alcohol, citrus oils, or fragrance components should patch test first. Mild, brief tingling can occur with acid products, but persistent burning, redness, swelling, or itching is a reason to rinse and stop use. Do not apply to broken skin.
